A Saturday in Acre

My life in Acre is calm and peaceful; I study and work at UFAC. It’s 10:00am of Saturday, I get up and my mother makes me a very good breakfast. At about 13:00 o’clock I’m making some barbecue beef ribs; my family and I are going to the Igarapé Preto to have fun. On the way to there, our car gets broken; what an upsetting situation! My mother calls a mechanic and he comes 2 hours later. He fixes the car but it is 17:30; too late to go to the river. Well, we can try that again next Saturday.
