The Rhyme of Fruma

In the beginning there was nothing; nothing but a lake. In this lake lived Fruma, a really giant snake. From her skin arose the earth. From her blood flowed the sea, and from the flesh of her heart, comes all the life that you can see. Every creature was perfect; living in love and grace. The only problem was the Englas; full of envy was this race. They stole her glowing eyes, in order to rule the earth. Alas, what have they gotten? The punishment they are worth. Without wings they cannot fly, Englas and Fruma shine above our sky.
